The scope of dental services includes urgent care, preventive, basic oral surgery, restorative and limited endodontics.
Urgent Care Dental Services are offered by appointments only.
After Hours emergency care is available by contacting the medical provider on call through the Health Center switchboard.
Walk in appointments are available Monday-Friday first come first serve basis with limited slots.

Preventive
Preventive services include oral prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and patient education. (Before preventive services can be rendered, an initial assessment must be completed by a staff dentist, with a panorex and possibly more x-rays).
Oral Surgery
Oral surgery includes basic extractions.
Complex extractions and biopsies are referred to the UNC Dental School, Oral Surgery Clinic for diagnosis and treatment.
Restorative
Restorative procedures shall include amalgam and resin fillings. Presently, no crowns, bridges or dentures are being fabricated.
Endodontics
Multirooted teeth will be referred to the UNC Dental School, Endodontic Clinic for treatment. Single rooted teeth may be treated at the discretion of the LCHC staff dentist.
